GameRank announces support for Counter-Strike and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Online Multiplayer Games.
July 30, 2009 – GameRank (www.gamerank.com),
developer of a popular player reputation system for online games, has announced support for two additional
popular first person shooter (FPS) games. The GameRank player reputation system has added support for
Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Counter-Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are two of the most popular FPS games
in the market. Gamerank also supports Counter-Strike Source from a previous release.
Todd Fearn, CEO of GameRank says "We continue to execute our initial strategy of supporting all of the most
popular first person shooter (FPS) games in the marketplace. We've also added additional features to our service
including global ban lists and clan management."
GameRank's global ban list feature gives users the ability to create ban lists and share them with other game
server administrators. They can take advantage of ban lists already created by other administrators and apply
these ban lists to their game servers. GameRank has also deployed an import facility whereby a user can import
external ban list files into a shared global ban list.
GameRank's clan management feature provides a facility where users can create clans for their game server, monitor
clan activity, control clan access, provide preferential access to the game server for clan members, and the
option of suspending individual clan members from accessing a game server.
