Player Reputation |
|
It's human nature and flows through to human game play, game players are typically very consistent in their
actions. Whether it is good behavior or bad behavior like cheating or abuse, players will typically repeat
these actions again and again. GameRank has created software to keep track of player behavior and build
a valid player reputation based upon behavior.

The GameRank Score |
GameRank monitors player activity during game play and produces a player score for every player in the
GameRank Network. A player’s GameRank Score is a number between 1 and 1000, with 1000 being best.
Each player score is derived from the players’ in-game experience, ability and behavior. Experience,
high ability and positive behavior affect the players' GameRank score in a positive manner. Low experience,
low ability and negative behavior affect the GameRank score in a negative manner.

Player Feedback |
GameRank has implemented a facility whereby players can provide feedback about other players within their game community.
In many GameRank supported games, this feedback system is an in-game menu available during game play. In others it
is accomplished via a web or desktop widget.
This feedback gives a player the ability to provide immediate feedback about another player (kicks, bans, thumbs up,
thumbs down, etc). Or potentially kick or ban a player from a game server via an in-game voting mechanism.
Positive player feedback affects a player's score in a positive way and of course the opposite is true of negative feedback.

Empowering the Game Server Administrator |
With a player reputation system in place, the game server administrator can take advantage of this, by only allowing players
with a certain GameRank score to access their game server. They can reate a total noobie server or alternatively,
allow only high ranked players to access their game server.
GameRank offers other powerful game server administrator tools, including Global Ban Lists, Clan Management, Clan Payment
and more.

Global Ban Lists |
Stop banned players from accessing your game server. With GameRank, you can now create ban lists and share them with other
game server administrators. Use the import feature to import existing ban lists.
Take advantage of ban lists of bad players already created by other administrators. Apply these ban lists to your game
server and stop all abusers and cheaters from accessing your game server.

Clan Management |
Create clans for your game server. Monitor activity and control clan access, provide
preferential access to clan members, and suspend clan members at your discretion.

Clan Payment - Payments delivered directly to your Paypal account. |
You can ease the burden of collecting payments using the GameRank Clan Payment System. To enable Clan Payment, a game server owner can now create a clan and apply a specific clan payment to all of the clan members.
GameRank will collect the payments via PayPal from the clan members and distribute these payments directly to the game server owner’s PayPal account. Clan members that do not pay are automatically suspended and are denied access to any game server where the clan is associated until a payment is made.
